Capitalization in transcriptions: First letter of words capitalized if clearly so appearing in ms.; also words Deus and Iesus Christus; otherwise lower case letters are used. Greek letters transcribed as majuscules, as they appear in the mss., except no distinction can be made in our type font between the square capital form for alpha and the uncial form

Gloss-text incipits and explicits: Often more than one incipit for a gloss is given, showing a first and second section of the gloss, in order to provide a more useful incipit; however, usually only the last appearing gloss text is given for the explicit, unless more than one explicit can be distinguished on the last page.
